Villa FVL —
windows for houses in Wood and bio-construction.

This ancient tabià in Cadore has been renovated while maintaining its original features, and updated according to the principles of bioarchitecture.

The tabia are the traditional houses of the Dolomites, a true masterpiece of solidity, built with durable materials and resistant to the elements. For this project, the architect chose the natural wood windows from Aldena. There are windows with a folding/sliding door, transom windows and sliding windows in the ONE model in natural larch treated with citrus oil. The large sliding windows have a frame above the wall.

The larch wood is naturally resistant to the sun, cold and humidity, and does not require special protection. The frames have been impregnated with citrus oil to give an even warmer effect to this magnificent woody essence, typical of alpine areas.
